Brendan Sullivan’s immense contribution to voluntary service includes improving men’s health, coaching and mentoring pre-parole prisoners, and supporting people who live with disabilities. Underpinning his service is a commitment to bringing men of all abilities together to support their wellbeing and build healthy communities.
Brendan was instrumental in launching the annual Tasmanian Men’s Gathering and was the inaugural president of TasMen, the association that hosts the event and supports a range of wellbeing and learning activities.
Brendan has also played a major role with Pathways To Manhood: a rite of passage program for fathers and sons; Men’s Resources Tasmania: a not-for-profit organisation promoting men’s wellbeing; and Building Pathways: a mentoring program for prisoners who are due to be released.
Through these and many other coaching activities, Brendan has had a profoundly beneficial impact on the lives of thousands of men in Tasmania and throughout Australia.
